More Details on Mike Bennett's and Maria Kanellis' New Ring Of Honor Contracts Reportedly Emerge

The two returned to ROH last year

Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis made their respective returns to Ring Of Honor at the end of 2020.

The married duo departed WWE in April of last year after being released as part of the promotion's COVID-19 related budget cuts, returning to ROH after leaving the company back in 2015.

Bennett and Kanellis recently signed new contracts with ROH, with their last deals set to expire in June 2021, and Fightful Select is reporting that these respective new contracts will last until the end of this calendar and also contains the option of an extension in 2022.

Bennett, who married Kanellis in 2014, is reported to have said that there was initially a feeling out process between the two and ROH. Both sides felt that there is a good relationship between the promotion and Bennett and Kanellis, and therefore agreed to extend the deal.

Bennett's return to Ring Of Honor in November, in which he saved former Kingdom partner Matt Taven from a beatdown by The Righteous, was named the promotion's Holy S*** Moment of the Year for 2020.
