NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2024 Semi Finals Confirmed
The Semi Finals of the 2024 NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic have been set
The eighth Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament is underway in WWE NXT, and on the January 16 edition of NXT TV, the semi final matches were set, with the finals set for Vengeance Day on February 4.
January 16 saw teams from the right side of the bracket compete, with the LWO’s Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde defeating Chase U’s Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne to book their semi final spot, whilst early favourites Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams defeated 2022 semi finalists Edris Enofe and Malik Blade.
LWO vs. Williams and Hayes is likely to take place on the January 30 edition of NXT, whilst the semi finals of the left bracket will occur on January 23. In the other semi finals, Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin will take on the team of Nathan Frazier and Axiom.
Should Hayes and Williams make it to the finals then Hayes will have a busy Vengeance Day, with his long awaited NXT Championship match against Ilja Dragunov also set for the PLE. The two were originally meant to face off at new year’s Evil before Dragunov was inadvertently taken out by Ridge Holland.
