Paul Wight Has Teased A Return To In-Ring Action

Paul Wight is eyeing up an in-ring return

‘Big Show’ Paul Wight’s in-ring career has really slowed down in the last few years, competing just seven times since signing with AEW back in 2021. However, the ‘World’s Largest Athlete’ is not looking to end his in-ring career just yet, as he has teased a return to in-ring competition. In a video post on Instagram, Wight revealed his intentions.

"I bet you’re wondering what giants do when they’re not in the ring. It’s taking out the trash can, but I will be back in the ring soon. I can't wait to see you guys.”

Wight then joked about the sweat on his head, stating that he’d been in the gym and wasn’t about to explode just by taking out the trash. Wight last competed earlier this year on the Jericho Cruise, teaming up with Chris Jericho & ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey to take on the Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher & Powerhouse Hobbs) & Lance Archer. Prior to that, his last televised match was all the way back in November last year when he teamed with Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi in a Street Fight against the Don Callis Family, in which Wight took a scary looking slam on a car.

It was revealed last month that Wight would be undergoing knee replacement surgery, though that doesn't look to be stopping him coming back to wrestle.
