PCO Wins ROH World Title At Final Battle

In February of 2011, 43-year-old Carl Ouellet quietly retired from wrestling after a 24 year career.

Few could have imagined that the former three-time WWE World Tag Team champion (as Quebecer Pierre) would by the end of the decade not only be wrestling once more, but would capture the ROH World Heavyweight title.

That's just what happened on Friday night as the man now known as PCO, weeks shy of his 52nd birthday, defeated Rush at Final Battle in Baltimore to become the new Ring of Honor champ.

PCO won a violent match that included chairs, tables, and the use of a hearse, which PCO was suplexed onto the windshield of.

In the end, PCO finished Rush off with a moonsault through a table.

Technically, PCO reigns as a dual champion, still holding as ROH Six-Man Tag Team championship alongside Villain Enterprises allies Brody King and the possibly-outgoing Marty Scurll.

PCO sets the record for oldest man to win the ROH World title, breaking the mark set by Christopher Daniels, who won the belt in March 2017, shortly before his 47th birthday.
