Report: CM Punk & FTR Yet To Hold Meeting With Chris Jericho & Tony Khan

Chris Jericho is yet to meet with CM Punk

Ahead of CM Punk's return to All Elite Wrestling, the two-time AEW World Champion is set to have a meeting alongside FTR with Tony Khan and Chris Jericho.

The meeting will seemingly take place as AEW look to clear the air before Punk's return to the promotion, with The Straight Edge Superstar having had issues with Chris Jericho over the past several months. Jericho reportedly called Punk a "cancer" following his backstage brawl with The Elite after All Out and Jericho, along with other top stars, later told the AEW locker room they would stop Punk from returning to the promotion. Relations then only worsened after Punk called his former WWE rival a "stooge" during a rant on Instagram in late March.

Despite the issues, Punk and Jericho are likely to work together for Punk's first post-return feud, with that likely to be a topic of discussion at the aforementioned meeting. When exactly the meeting will take place is unclear but Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer stated it has yet to happen.

The feud between Punk and Jericho will likely take place solely on AEW's rumoured Saturday night show, Collision, with Punk set to be the star of the new series. The new show is rumoured to premiere on June 17.
