Report: Triple H's Stance On CM Punk Believed To Have Changed

Could CM Punk go back to WWE?

While CM Punk and Triple H are known to have had issues during their time together in WWE, this doesn't necessarily mean the WWE Chief Content Officer would be against bringing Punk back to the company.

WrestleVotes revealed to GiveMeSport that Triple H was previously against a Punk return but his stance has since softened and Punk re-signing with WWE cannot be ruled out.

"I was told, I mean, pretty straightforward, that Triple H wants nothing to do with CM Punk, and even less to do with Phil Brooks. Well, that's what I was told and that was July. I did ask over the last couple of days, and it has softened a little bit from what I understand. I still think there's animosity, I still think there's a lot of pieces that need to be picked up between the two of them specifically. But Hunter learned from Vince [McMahon] and Vince made amends with everybody. So to say that door is closed is ridiculous on anybody's part, especially in this 'war' that's happening right now...I would say never say never. Absolutely," WrestleVotes said.

Punk is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling but his future with the promotion is in doubt following his involvement in a backstage fight with Ace Steel and The Elite following All Out in early September. All five men were suspended following the incident and Punk is reportedly in talks with AEW over a contract buyout.
