Report: Update On Gigi Dolin Following Brutal Kick On WWE NXT

Jacy Jayne turned on Gigi Dolin during this week's NXT

Gigi Dolin won't be on WWE TV for "a few weeks" following the implosion of Toxic Attraction, according to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live

Jacy Jayne turned on her tag team partner during a special edition of Ding Dong, Hello! on the February 7 edition of NXT, calling back to the barber shop window turn that saw Shawn Michaels attack Marty Jannetty to break up The Rockers. Jayne then threw Dolin into the Ding Dong, Hello! door but it didn't open, as reportedly planned, and Jacy then decked her former tag team partner with a brutal kick that left Dolin with a boot print bruise the next day.

Although the kick looked rough, Dolin is said to be "fine", Bryan Alvarez reported, and she will be kept off TV for the next "few weeks" to sell the attack.

"Gigi Dolin is fine. She apparently is fine. She got thrown into a door that didn't open and then she got her face smashed in between a foot and a door that didn't open. She's tough and she's done a lot of matches and I guess it looked worse than it was...They're doing an injury angle so she's not going to be on TV for a few weeks to sell what looked like practically, a career-ending injury," Alvarez tweeted.

During their time together as a tag team, Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin became two-time NXT Women's Tag Team Champions.
