Rob Van Dam Says Orange Cassidy Is A Version Of Himself

Perhaps both OC and RVD could team up with HOOK in the future.

Rob Van Dam is a fan of AEW's Orange Cassidy.

Speaking about the current AEW International Champion during a recent edition of his 1 Of A Kind With RVD podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer said:

"Cassidy is a version of me, you know, because he's so laid back and relaxed and doesn't give a f**k. I see that. When I first realised, you know, what was important to this guy, you know, his value system. Just looking at Orange Cassidy, I was like, yeah, they took one side, one perspective of me and fu**ing really exploited it into a new character and I like it"

RVD and OC may well yet interact on AEW television. Van Dam is open to having an extended part-time run with the promotion, while Tony Khan is very open to bringing The Whole F'N Show back in the future.

The 52-year-old revealed how his association with AEW did cost a booking with WWE over WrestleMania 40 weekend in Philadelphia.
