ROH Announce Two Shows To Celebrate 18th Anniversary In March

Can the present beat the past...

Ring Of Honor ended 2019 on somewhat of a downward trend. The promotion could only seem to attract negative stories, whether it was David Starr's promo, Joey Mercury's allegations, or the sacking of Kelly Klein. Attendances were also the lowest they had been for a number of years, and fans who did show up questioned ROH's booking.

Ultimately, the Sinclair promotion is seeking to rejuvenate itself in 2020 and yesterday they announced two shows to celebrate their 18th anniversary. On March 13, ROH will host the 18th Anniversary pay-per-view at Sam's Town Live in Las Vegas, Nevada. No matches have been announced as of yet, but according to the ROH press release: "Championships will be defended and scores will be settled."

The promotion will then combine its present and past stars on one show as they host ROH: Past vs. Present the next day, also at Sam's Town Live. The card for the show has yet to be confirmed, but Ring Of Honor did announce past stars like Doug Williams, Homicide, Matt Sydal and Necro Butcher will be in action.
