Update On ROH Supercard of Honor 2024

Details on ROH Supercard of Honor 2024

Ring of Honor’s first pay per view event of the year Supercard of Honor is believed to be returning in April, with reports suggesting it’ll take place the same weekend as WWE WrestleMania XL.

Supercard of Honor has been held on Mania weekend for several years, and a report from Fightful Select suggests that 2024 is to be no different, with ROH said to have secured Philadelphia’s 10,000 seat Liacouras Center on April 5 - per internal company listings.

ROH sister promotion All Elite Wrestling has run the venue twice in the past, running Dynamite in April 2022, and October 2019. Whilst it has a capacity for 10,00 it is said to be ‘almost always scaled for much less’.

ROH President Tony Khan has revealed in the past that he would never run an AEW/ROH show on WrestleMania weekend, with the first Supercard of Honor under his control booked for the weekend prior to his purchase of the company in early 2022. However it seems Khan’s stance has changed, with Supercard of Honor 2023 also taking place the same weekend and in the same state as WWE WrestleMania 39.

With Mania XL set for Philadelphia it makes sense to run an ROH event in the state, with Philly being one of the most historically passionate territories for pro-wrestling in general, never mind the extra influx of fans from across North America and overseas for Mania weekend.
