Update On TNA Possibly Taping At Full Sail University

A new update on TNA potentially heading to Full Sail University

WWE’s budding new relationship with TNA has seen some minor crossovers so far, with Jordynne Grace competing at both the Royal Rumble and NXT Battleground events this year, in addition to the TNA Knockouts World Champion appearing on weekly NXT programming too. At the recent Against All Odds 2024 special, NXT’s Tatum Paxley answered an open challenge to take on Grace.

Although not directly linked to the deal with WWE, it was reported earlier this year that TNA was considering the possibility of moving to the former home of NXT, Full Sail University, to film their weekly TV shows.

With TNA’s recent office cuts, there have been concerns across the board when it comes to the future of their shows, dates, venues, and more, though according to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the announcement of the upcoming Emergence and Victory Road tapings in August and September have “alleviated a lot of concerns.” There was initially some concern due to the lack of new dates, and there was also concern due to the lack of development on the possibility of Full Sail University being used to host live TV each week. It is said though that this idea is “not totally dead”, though it won’t be happening for at least several months, if ever.
