WWE Adding New Title To NXT

WWE are adding a new championship to NXT. 

NXT General Manager Ava announced the creation of the NXT Women's North American Championship during Stand & Deliver following the six-woman tag team match that pitted Thea Hail, Kelani Jordan, and Fallon Henley against Jacy Jayne, Kiana James, and Izzi Dame. 

Ava said: "If that tag match doesn't show why we have the best women's division in all of professional wrestling, then I have no idea what does. I truly believe that the women are the backbone of NXT. That is why I am so excited and honoured to announce that soon we will be crowning the first-ever Women's NXT North American Champion."

The belt will function as the secondary women's title in NXT behind the NXT Women's Championship that is now held by Roxanne Perez following her win over Lyra Valkyria at Stand & Deliver. 

When the inaugural NXT Women's North American Champion will be crowned has not been revealed. 

One woman WWE are adding to the NXT roster when she finishes her remaining dates is Giulia. The former World of STARDOM Champion was shown in the crowd at NXT Stand & Deliver.
