WWE Expected To Announce Up To 4 More Matches For WrestleMania 40

WWE aren't done announcing matches for WrestleMania 40.

The company's biggest show of the year will emanate from Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7. WWE are still holding qualifying matches for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Ladder Match at Mania but the organisation are expected to add up to four more matches to the WrestleMania card.

That is according to WrestleVotes, who reported: "The indication from sources suggests we'll see up to 4 more WrestleMania matches announced for the event. As of now, the working plan is to feature 7 matches per night on the main card."

There is no word on what the additional matches will be. A match has yet to be officially announced for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships, although Asuka was pulled from WWE house shows this past weekend due to injury.

CM Punk is scheduled to appear at WrestleMania 40 despite his injury.
