WWE NXT Commentator Mauro Ranallo "Doing Better"

No update on when he'll return though.

During NXT TakeOver: WarGames, Corey Graves posted a tweet which was critical of NXT commentator Mauro Ranallo. He wrote: “Just for the record guys. I know you wouldn’t know it, but there’s actually a WWE Hall of Famer AND a former Ring of Honor Champion on commentary. I’d imagine they have a lot to offer.” Ranallo has since deleted his Twitter account, and has not appeared on WWE TV.

Corey Graves also apologised for the tweet on last week's episode of the After The Bell Podcast.

During 28th November edition of Wrestling Observer Radio Dave Meltzer reported that Ranallo was in "rough shape", and that his mental health had been bad in the days leading up to NXT: TakeOver WarGames.

However, Meltzer did report on December 1st that Ranallo is "doing better." While NXT announcer Beth Phoenix said on last week's broadcast that she looks forward to seeing Ranallo, Meltzer noted no timeline has been established as to when the voice of NXT will return to the announcers table.
