WWE's Grayson Waller Pokes Fun At Tony Khan

Grayson Waller jokes about Tony Khan fearing for his life

In the latest chapter of digs between WWE and All Elite Wrestling, Grayson Waller has poked fun at Tony Khan and his claim that he feared for his life at AEW All In due to CM Punk's actions.

In a video on X (FKA Twitter), Waller stated he and Austin Theory feared for their lives at SmackDown after Kevin Owens punched Logan Paul backstage.

"2024 hasn't really started off the way that I was hoping for. Last Tuesday, I go to NXT because Ilja Dragunov is too scared to fight Trick Williams, and I save the show. You're welcome, Shawn Michaels. But what thanks do I get? I get assaulted, punched in the face by Kevin Owens for no reason at all," Waller stated.

"That's okay, I fly all the way to Vancouver for SmackDown. I got cuts inside my lip, my jaw is sore. What do I see while I'm watching the show? Kevin Owens punches Logan Paul, the United States Champion, in the face for no reason at all. Me and Theory had enough. We go and check on Logan backstage. Because you know what? We're starting to fear for our lives backstage. There's a madman running around punching people."

Following the announcement that All Elite Wrestling had fired CM Punk with cause in early September 2023, Tony Khan opened the episode of Collision following Punk's firing by stating that he feared for his life during the backstage altercation between CM Punk and Jack Perry at All In. Khan then doubled down on his claim, saying he was "scared as hell."

Reports have indicated there were multiple incidents between Tony Khan and CM Punk backstage at All In, including Punk at one point more than lunging at Khan.

CM Punk has since returned to WWE at Survivor Series 2023. He will be a part of the 2024 men's Royal Rumble match.
