Backstage News On Bryan Danielson Facing Jack Perry At AEW All Out

Backstage news on Jack Perry vs. Bryan Danielson at AEW All Out 2024

Bryan Danielson will be putting the AEW World Championship on the line for the first time since winning it at All In on August 25, when he faces Jack Perry at All Out on September 7.

This championship run will be Danielson’s last full-time gig in professional wrestling, with ‘The American Dragon’ stating he will retire from being a full-time pro when he loses the championship. Danielson is believed to have immense creative input into his championship run, with Danielson believed to have significant say on whom he faces for the strap, however the call to face Jack Perry was an AEW one according to Fightful Select.

Perry is in the midst of a significant push in All Elite Wrestling, with the ‘Scapegoat’ the reigning AEW TNT Champion as part of The Elite. Perry recently defeated rival Darby Allin in a Coffin Match at All In, Allin’s first loss when the stipulation has been at play.

Danielson is one of AEW President Tony Khan’s most trusted voices within the company, with Khan saying he’d want Danielson to run the company should anything ever happen to him.
