Giulia Makes WWE Debut At NXT No Mercy

Giulia makes her WWE NXT debut

Following months of anticipation, Giulia made her full WWE NXT debut following the semi-main event of No Mercy on Sunday, September 1 from Denver, Colorado.

Roxanne Perez managed to successfully defend the NXT Women's Championship against Jaida Parker at No Mercy but she wasn't given much time to celebrate as the lights inside the Ball Arena suddenly went out and Giulia made her way to the ring. Giulia then confronted Perez as the former Rok-C raised the NXT Women's Title to bring their staredown to a close.

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H praised Giulia following her debut, tweeting: "No doubt @giulia0221g is an absolute star with a bright future in @WWE. What a time to be part of #WWENXT’s Women’s division. #NXTNoMercy."

It had been expected throughout 2024 that Giulia would eventually debut in WWE NXT, with rumoured plans for her to face Roxanne Perez at NXT Heatwave earlier this year having to be scrapped after she suffered a broken wrist.

Giulia has been wrestling since 2017, first in Ice Ribbon before she headed to World Wonder Ring STARDOM in 2019. Giulia became one of the promotion's top stars and she is a one-time World of STARDOM Champion. She joined Rossy Ogawa's new Marigold promotion in April and worked regularly in the company until her final match on August 25.
