Update On WWE Plans For Motor City Machine Guns

Plans may have changed for Motor City Machine Guns ahead of WWE debut

The Motor City Machine Guns are reportedly signed with WWE, though it seems as though there has been a big change in plans when it comes to their signature. It was initially reported that the tag team of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin were set to go to NXT, being believed to be a “signing for the future” and it was thought they would be showing up on NXT’s debut episode on The CW earlier this week. However, MCMG didn’t show up, and there could now be an explanation as to why.

A vignette aired on last night’s October 4 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, showcasing two silhouetted figures in a car, driving through a city in a police chase. “Motors”, “City”, you can probably work that one out.

PWInsider have stated that this vignette is most likely set to be for the Motor City Machine Guns, who now seem to be SmackDown bound rather than having a short spell in NXT beforehand. It is noted that they were not in Chicago as expected for NXT’s CW debut on October 1.
