Dr. Luther Debuts On AEW Dynamite

He's a Japanese Deathmatch specialist...

In recent weeks, a new member of Nightmare Collective has been shown in backstage vignettes, but there was no confirmation of who the mysterious man was until last night.

On last night's episode of Dynamite, the faction's newest member was revealed as Japanese Deathmatch specialist, Dr. Luther.

During the episode, Brandi Rhodes got involved with Riho vs. Kris Statlander for the AEW Women's Championship as she has been trying to recruit The Galaxy's Greatest Alien in recent weeks. As Rhodes confronted Statlander, Luther crawled out from under the ring and helped Awesome Kong attack the challenger. For his trouble, he suffered a Moonsault from Riho.

Hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Luther has wrestled since the late 1980s in both North America and Japan. He debuted in Stampede Wrestling and the Canadian National Wrestling Alliance where he began a budding friendship with AEW World Champion Chris Jericho. He is most famous, however, for his Japanese Deathmatch wrestling as he has competed in Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling, IWA Japan and Wrestle Association R.
