Finn Balor Returns To Action At WWE Live Event In Manchester

Finn Balor has made a swift return from a 'minor' injury, working a match on the final night of the WWE's United Kingdom tour.

Balor was announced as being unable to compete during the event in Nottingham on Tuesday 9 November, with reports indicating that the Irishman had been pulled from action as a precautionary measure.

However, the first-ever WWE Universal Champion was back in the ring just 24 hours later, competing on the final evening of the WWE UK Tour in Manchester.

Balor teamed with Cesaro to take on WALTER and Sheamus in a European Tag-Team special. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer notes that Balor, despite being protected slightly by being put in a tag-team bout, would work the majority of the bout.

The tag-team match gave fans a glimpse of a potential dream match to come, with Balor and WALTER finally coming to blows in a WWE ring. The two men teased a future match earlier on the WWE UK tour, when WALTER confronted Balor following his win over Sheamus in Leeds this past Monday.
