Goldberg: Brock Lesnar Was My Toughest WWE Opponent

Goldberg has fought a lot of big hitters during his several WWE runs. From Triple H and The Undertaker to Braun Strowman, Goldberg has locked up with some of the biggest names, but according to Goldberg himself Brock Lesnar was the toughest he’s faced.
Talking to WWEIndia on Instagram Live, Goldberg said:
"He is a breed of his own. I’d like to say that he is an extremely similar character to mine. Mainly because that's who we are - that's truly how we are. One is a good guy, one is a bad guy - but not much of a difference. He is like going up against myself. I see that in Bobby Lashley too, but a younger version of myself.”
Brock Lesnar and Goldberg first feuded heading into WrestleMania 20 when both men were on the verge of exiting WWE, with their blow-off match critically panned. When Goldberg returned in 2016 he resumed his feud with Lesnar, producing several highly praised bouts, including a short hoss fight at WrestleMania 33.
