Report: Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks & More Suspended By AEW

The Elite have been suspended!

Several talents have reportedly been suspended by All Elite Wrestling following a backstage fight on Sunday.

Sports Illustrated have reported that Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Pat Buck, Christopher Daniels, Michael Nakazawa, and Brandon Cutler have all been suspended by the promotion. CM Punk and Ace Steel will either be suspended or will be gone from All Elite Wrestling by the end of Wednesday.

Tony Khan and CM Punk had a meeting on Tuesday and Sports Illustrated noted the two men would have had the opportunity to talk about any possible exit.

The suspensions come after a backstage fight between CM Punk, Ace Steel and The Elite following Sunday's All Out pay-per-view. The fight was the result of an inflammatory press conference from CM Punk during which he took shots at the AEW EVPs, Hangman Page, and Colt Cabana. The Elite later confronted Punk in his locker room and while many details are still disputed, it has been reported by several outlets that Ace Steel got involved on the side of Punk and bit Kenny Omega. Steel also threw a chair at Nick Jackson which left him with a black eye, while Punk threw punches at The Young Bucks. Everyone was then separated and The Elite left after much cursing and shouting.

There are pending legal issues stemming from the fight and Sports Illustrated reported "an external third-party investigation will be conducted to examine what transpired."
