Ronda Rousey Says She's NOT Signing With AEW

Ronda Rousey made a surprise appearance at a ROH taping recently, competing with friend Marina Shafir to take on Athena & Billie Starkz. This of course led to speculation over whether Ronda Rousey was ROH or AEW bound in the future. 

However, Rousey herself has now revealed that she will not be signing with AEW, at least not any time soon. In an interview with TMZ, she said, "No, no, I don't think so,” following this up with the reason of wanting to instead be a full-time mother at home with her family. 

Per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer, it seems as though Rousey wasn’t all that interested in competing on any major show. She is looking to have fun and do dates here and there, but due to Tony Khan allowing his talent to work the Wrestling REVOLVER show that Rousey competed on, for political reasons she agreed to also work on ROH. The ROH call was Khan’s choice, though it seems influenced by Rousey not wanting to work a big show currently.
