Swerve Strickland Still Willing To Face Keith Lee In AEW Singles Match

Swerve Strickland still wants to face Keith Lee

Swerve Strickland is still open to facing Keith Lee inside an AEW ring.

Strickland told the Battleground podcast ahead of WrestleDream: "I'm still looking for Keith Lee. Where's he been? I'll settle any score, anywhere. It don't matter to me. It's almost like those fighters in boxing fights like, 'Just make the fight. Just make the fight.' I'm not the booker. I'm not the guy controlling the money on this whole thing. Set the fight, and I'll be there."

Strickland and Keith Lee had been tag team partners in AEW which saw them reign as AEW World Tag Team Champions in 2022. They split at the end of the year after Strickland turned on Lee to form Mogul Affiliates (now Mogul Embassy after merging with The Embassy).

A singles match between Lee and Strickland was reportedly planned at different points in 2023 but AEW tabled any plans for the match in recent months. The former partners did face off in tag team action as Keith Lee and Dustin Rhodes picked up a win over Swerve Strickland and Parker Boudreaux back in March.

Strickland is currently in a feud with Hangman Page on AEW TV. Strickland defeated the former AEW World Champion at WrestleDream.
