Troy 'Two Dimes' Donovan Written Off WWE NXT 2.0 TV

Troy Donovan is officially no more

WWE have written Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan off NXT 2.0 TV after Donovan was released earlier this month.

As seen on the June 28 edition of NXT 2.0, a segment aired that featured Donovan’s former associates Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo on a bridge, with the pair throwing ‘Two Dimes’ jacket into the water and saying he now ‘sleeps with the fishes’ implying that they had bumped Donovan off. The two alleged that Donovan had moved against D’Angelo.

Donovan was released in early June due to a policy violation - with Donovan reportedly failing a drugs test. Reports at the time of Donovan’s release suggested that WWE could welcome him back into the company at a later date, and if that happens it’ll surely be under a new name unless Two Dimes awakens from his ‘sleep with the fishes’.

Donovan’s last televised match for NXT 2.0 was on June 8, with Donovan and Stacks losing to Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams in tag team action.
