Video: Cody Rhodes Attacks AEW World Champion Chris Jericho At New York Comic Con
The feud rages on...
It seems "The American Nightmare" wasn't too thrilled with the two sets of beatdowns levied upon him by the AEW World champion on Wednesday night.
Chris Jericho was taking part in an AEW panel event at the New York Comic Con, when Cody Rhodes showed up, calmly strode toward the stage, and, after a "Come on, you son of a bitch" prod from Jericho, began brawling with the company's top champion, before the two were separated by security.
According to reports, the brawl was preceded by MJF (dressed as a fan) asking Jericho during the Q&A how it feels knowing that Rhodes is going to get him back. MJF then revealed Rhodes was here, leading to Cody crashing the event.
Jericho and Rhodes are scheduled to wrestle for the AEW World Heavyweight title at Full Gear, on November 9 in Baltimore.
The pair got into two skirmishes on the premiere episode of AEW Dynamite - one with Jericho jumping Rhodes after Cody's win over Sammy Guevara, and once more during the multi-man scrum at night's end, where Jericho hit Rhodes with his Judas Effect elbow.
