Kevin Nash Reveals Why Booker T Didn't Want To Join NWO
Booker T didn't want to be a part of the New World Order, according to Kevin Nash.
On a recent episode of the Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash explained that Booker T was asked to be a member of the nWo in WCW - and revealed the reason he said no, stating:
"I remember when we asked Booker T to join the NWO, he said 'F*** no, man. You guys work too much.'"
Booker was never a member of the New World Order in WCW, although he did join a later incarnation of the group in WWE. Back in December 2020 on his own Hall of Fame podcast, Booker gave his own reasoning for not wanting to join the iconic stable in the '90s:
"It was just something that I did not want to be a part of. [...] I didn't want to be in the mix with a bunch of different guys, coming out to that one [song]. Sure, you know, being a part of a group like that, you gotta change the way you work, the way you act."
Booker was recently revealed as the new colour commentator for WWE's NXT brand.
