Report: What Brock Lesnar Said To Matt Riddle During Backstage Altercation At WWE Royal Rumble Revealed

The Beast Incarnate was not happy...

NXT star Matt Riddle has not been one to hide from confrontations with WWE legends. He has repeatedly called out Goldberg for his work ethic and they had a tense meeting back at SummerSlam.

The King Of Bros has also stated his desire to retire Brock Lesnar inside a WWE ring and The Beast Incarnate has seemingly taken exception to Riddle's comments. While backstage at the Royal Rumble, Lesnar confronted the former UFC star, and they got involved in a verbal altercation.

Now, Alex McCarthy at talkSPORT has revealed the WWE champion said: "Kid, you might as well stop saying my name and tagging me in s**t because you and I will never work together. Ever." Riddle apparently then tried to talk to Brock, but Lesnar moved away. Tensions were also never high between the two stars and Riddle remained cool and composed throughout the encounter.

Some fans speculated that the Dusty Cup finalist had been punished in the Royal Rumble match for the backstage incident, as he was eliminated by Baron Corbin after 40 seconds. However, a WWE source told McCarthy it was always the plan for Riddle to be eliminated quickly.
