Baron Corbin Comments On “Dumb” Fans Regarding Chris Jericho’s AEW World Title Win

Corbin doesn’t mince his words…

WWE

Playful ribbing or a concentrated swipe? Only the former “Constable” of Monday Night Raw knows for sure, as Baron Corbin left a pretty pointed comment on an Instagram post concerning Chris Jericho’s AEW World title win last night in Chicago.

The initial post on Instagram noted Jericho’s advanced age (by wrestling standards), while pointing out a double standard in AEW fans criticizing WWE for having older wrestlers in prominent roles.

Corbin left a comment on the Instagram post (capped here) that reads, “All of these smarks have hated everything we do and complained about every detail that now they are forced to love everything these guys do even when it shows (how) dumb they really are.”

Jericho, for his part, recently dismissed NXT, questioning why AEW would start a war with “some minor leagues”. He also claimed, perhaps facetiously, that there “is not one guy on that show that I have ever heard of before.”

AEW’s premiere episode of their TNT show goes head to head with NXT on Wednesday night, October 2.
