2. Drew McIntyre Wins With A Backslide
Well, the tagline for the event was, "You Never Saw it Coming", and damned if anyone predicted Drew McIntyre punctuating his intense, hard-hitting WWE title battle with Randy Orton by countering an RKO into a game-ending backslide. Somewhere, Kerry Von Erich's smiling proudly.
What's surprising about the finish was the relative cleanness of it. There's a "bonus" pay-per-view next Sunday night, so you'd think a screwy finish here would facilitate the gimmicked "rematch" between the two. Not that there *can't* still be a rematch at Payback, of course.
