It was reported last month that ROH were close to a TV deal, with Chris Jericho’s recent victory of the ROH World Championship seen as a way to entice potential broadcast partners due to his notoriety and star power - similarly to when he was crowned back in 2022. It was also noted last month that several of the ROH talent were overjoyed by the prospect of securing a TV deal.

Tony Khan was asked about the potential of a TV deal for ROH on the Sports Guys Talk Wrestling podcast, revealing he had in fact had several discussions.

“It's a great company. I love ROH, and I think that really, for us, it's important to look at, there's a great opportunity to grow Ring of Honor as we grow AEW. AEW just secured this huge media rights deal, and it's a complimentary thing to have another great wrestling promotion with that history. I do think there's a lot of interest right now in Ring of Honor. I've had great conversations about TV partnerships with ROH, and I think as AEW continues to grow, there's going to be more great opportunities for ROH in streaming and television.”

ROH’s next major event is Final Battle, scheduled for the Hammerstein Ballroom and will be headlined by Chris Jericho vs. Matt Cardona for the ROH World Title.
